Well I think I have the flu.....
Probably the worst possible time to get it, since I have a ton of work to do this week, and want to get it all done before the weekend. It's homecoming and I'm not going to fool myself into thinking that i'll be productive on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday night Wyclef is playing on campus. I've seen him twice already, once at Mary Wash and once at UVA, and both shows were fantastic. Aside from the Dave Matthews Band, who I've seen a bunch of times with Ian, Wyclef is probably the best live performer i've seen. His music is perfect for concerts, and he knows how to get the crowd involved and excited. Saturday will most likely be an all day booze fest, with the Miami-Clemson game thrown in somewhere, which unfortunatly has lost some of its luster with the loss to UNC on Saturday. Sunday, as usual, will be an all day football event, most likely culminating in another Skins loss.

Aside from the flu, I also seem to have caught the Europe bug that's already infected Ian and Joe. Ian is currently teaching english in Spain and Joe, who was here this past weekend (more on that debauchary in another post), is leaving for Spain in a few weeks. While I love Miami, I also really love Europe. London and Munich, along with NYC and Miami, are my favorite cities, and I would love to live to each place during my life. My mom is going to Munich in December, and I'm trying to figure out a way to go with her. I would love to spend New Years in Europe and spend some time with the part of my family that I don't get to see nearly enough. Law school, however, is once again trying to ruin my fun and I most likely will have to spend Christmas in Virginia because I have to be back in Miami on the 2dn of January. However, I've already decided that I'm going to visit Ian and Joe in Valencia during spring break in March. Apparantly, a festival known as Fallas, a Spanish festival which is mix between Mardi Gras and the 4th of July, is taking place in Valencia during that time so it should be a memorable spring break. Ian describes this as a weeklong booze fest with fire works. Sounds like my type of scene.
I'm also looking into going to Europe over my summer break. The law school has several programs in Europe that you can pick and chose from, and unless I can land an internship with a sports team or an agent here or in D.C., that's most likely what I'll do. The way the program breaks dowm, I would spend three weeks in Greece and Italy taking classes, followed by a ten day tour of Italy, and culminating in another three weeks of classes in London.

This would also give me a chance to visit my fam in Munich and Prague, Ian and Joe in Spain, and any other place in Europe which I haven't yet explored. Unlike here, where flights are insanely priced, you can get $40 round trip airfare from most European cities. Several of my friends here are thinking of doing the same thing so that would make the trip even better.
Anyway I'm procrastinating so back to my Tort's reading....
What fun
